From Amy Thomas, author of Paris, My Sweet. A love affair with Paris, New York, sweets and, now, a little girl named Parker.
Inside the souls of the people I surround myself with. Because Parisians and expats who come to Paris are dreamers, lovers of life. So it's in them that I feel love.Milsters(http://www.littlepiecesoflight.com/)
With my Parisian guy whom I met in Paris in 1985.
In the beautiful gardens by the senate (I'm not going to butcher the French name here) where we had lunch the day the weather finally broke last time we were there. Sat on a bench in the beautiful May sun....
This is so sweet :) I must say that I adore your writing and insight about Paris ever since I first found your posts on the HiP Paris blog. I've now bought your book as well and will use it as my survival guide for sweets in Paris when I move back in January, so thank you ;)Best,Carin
I see it at the end of the day, watching friends and family meeting up at the café for un p'tit apéro before heading home. Kisses and smiles all around.
I find it every day in this city too. Old people meeting on sidewalks and stopping for kisses and a chat. Young and old, the people here are remarkable in how kind and loving they are - regardless of politics and hardship. It is good to see / feel love, wherever you are. besos, C
