My Vegan Mondays

Here we go, here we go. While my willpower has been pitiful lately (to wit: this weekend included (multiple) cupcakes from Georgetown and Firefly and chocolates from Chow) I don't mind patting myself on the back for remembering my Vegan Mondays. It's not much, but it's something.

Morning
Strawberries
Banana

Afternoon
Steamed veg and roasted potatoes
A granola bar

Evening
Carrots and hummus

    Here is another vegan thing to try, pour this into a bowl:

    Mixed berries, slice as needed (for example, this morning I had blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries)
    Handful of walnuts - be generous here.
    Almond milk - as if you were having a bowl of cereal.

    A coworker told me about this and now I'm hooked. With the crunch of the walnuts it seems a lot like cereal. Very filling.

  2. Bon chance my dear. I've toyed with the idea of deleting meat from my diet, but alas, I've lost that battle for now.
