Catching up on life

Enfin, the Blog Tour is over. A gazillion thanks to my fellow bloggers and inspirations who made it happen and were so generous with their time and support. And thanks to you all for reading and going along on the Tour!

The past couple of weeks haven’t been all working, promoting and writing. They’ve also been deliciously indulgent.

Cocktails at Gotham Bar at the Peninsula Hotel…

…and Rye in Williamsburg.

Brunch at Jack’s Wife Frieda…

… and Balthazar.

Cupcakes at Georgetown Cupcake…

… and Sprinkles.

A lovely Saturday afternoon tea party perched overlooking uptown…

…and my own launch party at the wee Bosie Tea Parolor downtown.

So far, 2012 has been an extraordinary year. Intensely busy, extremely gratifying and filled with overwhelming love and emotion. Two months in, I can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store.

How is your 2012 shaping up??

  1. Wonderful!! I just tweeted you to write that I gobbled up the book this past Sunday. I'll go on Goodreads eventually and leave my thoughts there. I've been to several of the posts of folks who have done their write ups about the book and it is so nice to see all the wonderful praise, piling up! But then, we knew that it would be terrific. Congratulations, Amy, and here's to 2012 becoming even better!

  2. Looks like a fun and fabulous launch party. Congrats again, Amy! I'm still looking at your inspirational words every day when I open my calendar ("You can't wait for things to happen to you. If there's something you want out of life - whether it's moving to the City of Light (and Dark Chocolate) or writing a book - you need to figure out a way to get there"). I'm holding the hope for a good 2012, too!

  4. I love your big happy smile. You have started the year out right :)

Our year is slowly moving along, we are in the midst ( hopefully the end ) of a very very hot Summer.
    I look forward to fall/winter.
Plans are being made, lists are being made, research is being done.. another Move is in the works.

  5. Merci, mes amis! It was a lovely launch and so far, oui, 2012 is brilliant. I just have to cut back on my sweets consumption for awhile. There have been a few too many macarons, cupcakes, cookies and bonbons as of late. Austerity measures start tomorrow... xo

  8. seems like things are off to a fab start! And that brunch salad at Jack's Wife Frieda looks delish - nice dark greens and that feta (i assume?) on top. Oh, and that grilled bread....you just don't seem to get salads like that here!
