Sweet on Paris

Did you see my HIP post on Ladurée's macarons here in New York?

Or my Parisian patisserie piece for National Geographic Traveler?

I think I need a new edible assignment, tout de suite!

  6. Ah! Just a little something I need to share here! Gail Boisclair shared your NG article on Google+ when it came out, I noted it, and when I was tutoring French Dad (of the kiddo I babysit) in English one day, he saw I had the article open in a tab on my browser & asked me to send it to him! He was unaware of some of the pâtisseries you mentioned in the article & was eager to try them. Just thought I'd let you know that even a real Frenchie with discriminating tastes was interested in what you wrote. It was a wonderful piece, Amy. I have told myself over and over if I ever have to go on something called a "gluten challenge" which is what one needs to do sometimes to get officially tested for Celiac Disease, I am going to refer to your blogs and articles, and make sure I stuff my face with every possible glutenous thing I can that you recommend. :)~ It's a wild fantasy for sure, but if I ever DO have to do something like this, that's my plan. *grin*
